Description
The Ripper Sailing Regatta Top Cover is made for Finn sailors who leave the boat rigged between races. Mast up, boom on, cover over the top, and the boat stays protected in the dinghy park without stripping the rig down at the end of every day.
The cover is shaped to fit around the mast and over the boom, creating a raised, tent-like profile so rainwater runs off instead of pooling on the fabric. It is made from 600D ULY polyester with a PU coating and a water-repellent finish, chosen for repeated handling and long spells outdoors. Areas that take the most rubbing and tension are reinforced, and adjustable webbing straps with perimeter cords hold the cover in position when the wind gets up.
It pairs with the Ripper Finn UV Mast Cover, so hull, cockpit and rig are all covered while the boat stays set up and ready to sail. From the first race of the day through to overnight storage, this is the cover for boats that live rigged in the boat park rather than on the trailer.
