The Rooster 6 mm Polilite® mainsheet is a revolutionary non-twist rope that gained worldwide recognition after being used to win the Laser Gold Medal at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Designed specifically for dinghy sailing, this mainsheet minimizes tangles while delivering smooth and consistent handling through the blocks.
The rope features a load-bearing outer cover that grips a lightweight inner polypropylene core, preventing the rope from twisting and reducing the chance of tangles at critical moments, such as during a bear away or mark rounding.
The 6 mm diameter offers the ideal balance between grip, weight, and low friction through blocks, making it particularly suited for light to medium wind conditions.
