Description
Description
The A.282A is Allen's open base fairlead in aluminium, the metal version of the grey acetal A.282 that leads the lines on most ILCA and Laser boats. It guides the outhaul on the boom and the traveller line at the rear quarters of the deck.
Both spots have line running through them all race, so the lead is worth getting right. The aluminium version gives you a metal eye in place of the moulded original. It is compact, 18 mm high and 14.5 mm wide, and fixes with two screws through 5 mm holes. Screws are not included.
If you race at championship level, check your current class rules before you swap a standard fitting for this one.
