The Rooster Quick Release Bottom Pin is designed for use with ILCA / Laser lower vang units, allowing sailors to quickly release the vang from the mast fitting using a simple push-button mechanism.
Instead of struggling with traditional clevis pins or shackles during rigging and derigging, this quick-release system enables fast and secure operation, particularly useful during launching, recovery, transport, or fast rig changes at events.
Both versions are manufactured from high-quality marine-grade stainless steel for long-term durability and corrosion resistance in demanding saltwater environments.
A small hole in the tapered handle allows the optional attachment of a split ring or retaining cord for additional ease of use on the water.
Tested for reliable compatibility with multiple ILCA vang systems.
