The Lightweight High Cut X Boot from Zhik sets a new benchmark in lightweight dinghy footwear. Engineered for trapezing and performance dinghy sailors, this is the lightest and most responsive high-cut boot Zhik has ever produced.
Built with a ribbed 3D knitted stretch sock construction, the upper delivers a seamless, flexible fit with excellent comfort and stability. Stitched rubber-coated panels add structure and abrasion resistance, while the water-permeable design allows fast drainage. The advanced knitting process also improves sustainability by eliminating material off-cuts during production.
Zhik’s iconic full-length side lace system ensures precise adjustment across the entire foot. An integrated lace pocket reduces snagging, and a low-profile Velcro ankle strap with rear securing loop maintains a secure fit under load without unnecessary bulk.
The Michelin Fibrelite outsole provides exceptional grip, flexibility, and durability. Textile fibres laminated within the rubber deliver twice the durability of previous designs while allowing a thinner sole profile for superior board feel and control.
At just 440 g per boot in size US 9, the Lightweight High Cut X Boot delivers barefoot-inspired sensitivity with structured support. Compatible with the Hiking X Carbon Insole for enhanced performance during sustained hiking.
