The A1034 is a firm stainless steel coil spring from Allen, wound from 2 mm wire to a 25.4 mm outside diameter and a 43.7 mm length. Allen supplies it in its own Topper mainsheet race pack.
A spring this stiff is typically used to hold a block upright, so it stands ready for the line instead of falling over. At 9 g you will not notice it.
