The Optimast Green Spar Ultimate Racing Mast is the lightest Optimist mast currently available, designed for sailors who demand maximum responsiveness and precise sail control. By reducing the wall thickness to 1.5 mm and using the stronger and more durable AW 7020 aluminium, Optimast has made the Green mast lighter and more flexible while maintaining reliability.
Originally developed as an excellent choice for novice and very light sailors, the updated Green Spar now also performs exceptionally well in competitive racing. The refined flex profile allows for accurate sail shape adjustment across a wide range of conditions, especially benefiting lighter sailors.
With more than eight years of Optimist-focused development, Optimast masts are used by top sailors at European and World Championships. The Green Spar Ultimate Racing Mast is fully IODA compliant and integrates seamlessly into modern Optimist rig setups.
All Optimast products come with a 24-month manufacturer warranty and free service support at major regattas.
