Description
The PolarWave 29 mm heavy load block is built for the higher-load control systems on your boat, where a small block still has to take real force. With a 420 kg working load and a 990 kg breaking load on a 29 mm sheave, it handles purchase systems and turning points that the lightweight blocks are not meant for.
The single-piece construction keeps the block stiff under load, and the stainless steel sheave runs on ceramic bearings for smooth, low-friction rotation. It takes line up to 7 mm, so it covers everything from primary purchase to heavily loaded deck turns.
Use it on ILCA and Optimist control systems that see high load, and on larger dinghies and keelboat control lines where you want strength without the weight of a bigger block. At 33 grams it stays light for its rated load.
