Description
Description
The gooseneck is the hinge between your boom and your lower mast, and on an ILCA it works hard every time the boom loads up. Allen makes the original pattern with the pin already fitted, so it goes straight onto the lower section and the boom slides on.
It fits the standard ILCA 4, 6, 7 lower mast with a 12 mm pin and 5 mm fixing holes. Fixings are not included. A bent or worn gooseneck is one of those faults that creeps up on you: the boom starts sitting slightly off centre, the outhaul angle shifts, and you end up chasing sail shape that is not really there.
