ILCA Quick Release Outhaul Primary Line & Block Bundle – SK79 + PolarWave + Allen

This bundle is a complete ILCA outhaul primary system, spliced and assembled, ready to hook over the boom and go sailing. It combines the quick release primary line, the 18 mm PolarWave block, and the Allen dogbone that gives your double puller elastic something to pull on.

The primary line is spliced from 3 mm Dyneema SK79. The large loop at one end hooks over the end of the boom, so the whole system comes off by lifting the loop clear. The 18 mm PolarWave block is spliced straight into the line.At 6.4 g with a 500 kg breaking load it runs smoothly under outhaul loads without adding weight out at the end of the boom.

The Allen A8606 dogbone is spliced into the primary line as the take-up point for a double puller elastic. Run your shock cord off the dogbone and down both sides of the boom and the primary stays under tension as you ease, so the clew follows the outhaul out instead of sitting there waiting to be pulled. That is the difference between an outhaul that eases on the run and one you have to work at.

Choose your rig and the primary line arrives cut and spliced to the right length. Pick your block and dogbone colours to code the system against the rest of your controls. The shock cord for the puller elastic is not included, so you can run the length and tension you prefer.
