The PolarWave 40 mm lightweight block with hard attachment is built for sailors who want a clean, fixed mounting point without giving up weight or smoothness. The integrated stainless head bolts or shackles straight to deck, boom, mast or fitting, with no splicing or lashing needed.
The single-piece cheeks keep the block stiff under load, while the ceramic bearings let the sheave run almost friction-free. The block trims smoothly, releases cleanly, and responds the moment you move the line.
With a 300 kg working load and 12.5 mm line capacity, this block is best suited to lighter-load control systems where a permanent, low-profile fitting matters more than maximum load. Think cunningham, outhaul, vang upper turns, traveller systems and Optimist mainsheet positions.
