Description
The A4088 is Allen's large pressed stainless steel lacing eye, the U shaped strap you bolt down to give a block, shockcord or control line a solid anchor point. On a Laser or ILCA it is the standard eye for hanging the mainsheet block off the boom.
It takes two fasteners through 5.2 mm holes on 41 mm centres, so it drops straight onto the common boom hole pattern. Pressed from marine grade 316 stainless, it shrugs off salt water and keeps its shape under load.
Simple, strong and cheap enough to carry a few spares. Height 18.6 mm, weighs 5 g. Rivets or screws not included.
