Same quick-release Pop Off UJ® design, in the lighter non-rope-core version. It holds the extension securely while you sail and releases in seconds for storage and transport, which helps the joint last longer.
It keeps the standard 32 mm hole-centre spacing, so it drops onto most existing ILCA and Laser UJ bases without new holes, and fits tiller extensions with a 13 mm internal-diameter insert. The Dyneema® stays workable when it is wet, cold, or you are wearing gloves.
Without the internal rope core it is a touch lighter and simpler. Choose this one if you prefer minimal weight and are happy to manage the extension by hand.
