Description
This is the stainless bracket that wraps the ILCA boom and gives your kicker key something to hook into. It is the same part Allen supplies as the original fitting, so it goes back exactly where the old one came off.
The strap is 1.5 mm stainless steel and forms around round spars from 50 to 80 mm, with 5 mm fixing holes for the rivets. Booms take a beating at the vang attachment, and a tired bracket usually starts lifting at the edges long before it fails outright. Worth a look at the start of a season.
It works with the Allen SA.873 curved kicker key. Rivets are not included.
